PD Act slapped against 3 sex racketeers

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat detained three accused identified as Asad Hasan Khan (35), Shareeful Shaik (23) and Mohammed Ayub Shaik (26) under PD Act on Monday.

The accused were allegedly gang members of a Bangladesh origin sex racket gang.

According to police, king pin Rahul Amin Dalal, native of West Bengal State persuades women belonging to Bangladesh and West Bengal State in the guise of providing them livelihood in Hyderabad and later sends them to Hyderabad through trains.

Another prime accused Abdul Bank Shaik picks them up from the railway station and hands them over to their gang members. Later, they house the victims in rented portions in different parts of the city and force them into prostitution.

They procure customers by calling them over phones and collect huge amounts from the customers in the limits of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Commissionerate jurisdiction.

On a tip off, Pahadishareef police busted the racket on September 21, 2019 and arrested ten gang members including a lady organiser and rescued four victims from two brothel houses and sent them to a rescue home in Kukatpally.

Two prime accused Rahul Amin Dalal and Abdul Bank Shaik were at large. All the arrested accused were remanded to judicial custody.
