Peacock rescued

Tandur: A local resident rescued a peacock, which was in an immovable condition on the outskirts of Kokat village and handed it over to the police on Sunday. Baswaraj of Saipur village found an injured peacock near Shirdi Sai mandir and took it to CI Ravikumar.

The CI and the SI Gaffar called over the section officer of the forest department Tajuddin and handed over the bird. The police and the residents appreciated Baswaraj for his initiative.
