Peddapalli: Ambedkar's 63rd death anniversary observed by paying floral tributes

Peddapalli: The 63rd death anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar was observed by paying floral tributes at Pandilla village of Kalva Srirampur mandal, Peddapalli district on Friday.

District Collector Devasena, the chief guest on the occasion, paid tributes by garlanding the portrait of Ambedkar. The Collector appealed the youth of the present generation to follow the footsteps of Bharat Ratna awardee Babasaheb Ambedkar, who is called as the architect and father of Indian Constitution.

Ambedkar was one of the great personalities of India, who wrote the constitution to one of the largest democratic country in the world, that is India. He laid path for the development of the nation and strove hard for the uplifting weaker sections of the people, she added.

Ambedkar was one of greatest intellectuals of the world produced by India. The youth of present generation must follow his footsteps deriving inspiration from him and must lead the nation towards development, she appealed.

Leaders of various peoples' organisations, officials and others paid tributes to the leader.
