Peddapalli: MLA asks farmers not to believe middlemen

Peddapalli: The State government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is implementing various schemes keeping in view of the welfare of farming community, said Peddapalli MLA Dasari Manohar Reddy.

On Tuesday, he inaugurated paddy purchasing centres at Vennampalli and Mangapet villages in Peddapalli mandal set up by Kunaram Cooperative Societies.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the credit of helping farming community by providing 24-hour power supply, introducing schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, distribution of seeds and farm equipment on subsidy, fixing minimum support price (MSP) for the grains, goes to the CM. To solve the problems of farming community further, KCR had taken up the prestigious Kaleshwaram project and completed it in record time of three years.

The MLA suggested the farmers to dry their food grains before bringing them to the purchasing centres. The farmers must not believe middlemen and get cheated by them. The government is ready to purchase every food grain that was produced by the farmers, he assured.

MPP N Sampath, ZPTC V Tirupathi Reddy, Single Window Chairman K Sammaiah, Sarpanch K Srinivas Reddy and B Sadanandam, MPTC J Devanna, B Vakula, B Mounika, Mahendar, B Tirupathi, Bhumi Reddy, K Gattaiah, G Purushotham, B Srinivas, A Ravi and K Raj Kumar were present along with others.
