He said that the CM cheated the poor by boasting that he would build a double bedroom house for all the poor if he came to power. He expressed his concern that some of the houses built in Arepally and Teegala Guttapally Padma Nagar have become shelter for drug addicts, others are left unfinished and some of the houses are falling into ruins.

Satyam warned that if double bedroom houses are not given to all the deserving poor, all the poor will be gathered to occupy the double bedroom houses under the auspices of public associations.

Funds should be allocated in the budget to give Rs 5 lakh to all the poor and those who have house plots, or else Chalo Hyderabad agitation will be taken up on Feb 9, he said.
