People urged to fight against privatisation in Khammam

Khammam: Village Revenue Officer Welfare Association State President G Upender Rao urged everyone to fight against privatisation. He conducted a meeting with the employees, teachers and pensioners at VRO Association meeting hall in Khammam on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the State and Central governments were trying to turn-up various government organisation into private sector. He said everyone should stop the privatisation programme and fight against the government's decision.

TSPTA State President Syed Shakath rubbished the State government's policies and said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao should be reminded about how employees fought during the Statehood moment.

STF State Secretary Deverakonda Saidulu called all the employees to fight against the privatisation. Leaders of the various employees' organisation including N Shanker, M Rama Rao, B Prabhkar Chari, District VROs Association SK Nagul Meera, UTF district president G Naga Malleswara Rao and others attended the programme.
