People vexed with TRS: Shankar Naik

Nalgonda: District Congress Committee (DCC) president Shankar Naik stated that people are vexed with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government and dictator rule of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for the past five years.

He along with other Congress leaders hoisted national flag at the residence of Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy in Nalgonda. Speaking to media, he said the Congress party played a key role in leading the people during the freedom struggle and did lot of contributions for the development of country after it got freedom from the British rule. He explained the sacrifices of Gandhi family in the interests of nation.

He called upon party leaders and cadre to get ready for another struggle like freedom movement to drive away anti people party like the TRS from the State. He urged the party cadre to strive hard to win the forthcoming Municipal elections to bring the lost glory of party and pave path to come to power in both State and Central in next general elections. ZPTC Vanguri Laxmaiah, party town president Gummala Mohan Reddy and other leaders also participated in the event.
