Hayathnagar: Owners of plots in Pasumamula Sivasai Colony Association on Sunday staged a dharna protesting against land grabbing allegedly by former Nalgonda MRO Konda Surender Rao, who retired this year, along with one Gundeti Venkatesh.

They said the court had given a ruling in their favour. They claimed that local ACP Gandhi Narayana had visited the land and conducted an inquiry to state that justice was on their side. The plot owners apprehended a threat to their lives from the land-grabbers. Among those who joined the dharna were Ratna Chary, Munnayya, Sravanti, Rama Devi, Muralidhar Reddy, Mahender, Shivakumar, Naik, Prabhakar Reddy, Lakshmikantham and Venkat Reddy.
