PM Modi does not want free power to farmers, Telangana PUC chairman

Hyderabad: Public Undertakings Committee Chairman A Jeevan Reddy on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not want free power to farmers hence he was bringing new Power bill to remove the free power.

Addressing a press conference here, Jeevan Reddy said that farmers were happy with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's decision to oppose the power bill. He said that people who played with power have lost power. "Chandrababu (Naidu) lost power because of power and power enabled YS Rajasekhara Reddy to get into power two times. Modi is working against federal spirit," said Jeevan Reddy.

The TRS leader said that the BJP was 'Bharatiya Bogus Party's. The local BJP leaders to get national project status for Kaleshwaram project. He also said that their local MP was fake MP, who gave bogus degree certificate.

Jeevan Reddy alleged that Prime Minister Modi does not like welfare hence not even a single welfare scheme was brought by the Centre. He said that the BJP leaders would face the ire of migrants and farmers.
