Police arrested VH and his followers for trying to reinstall Baba Saheb Ambedkar statue at Panjagutta circle

Hyderabad: The Panjagutta police arrested Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday morning when he along with other supporters tried to install a new statue of Baba Saheb Dr B R Ambedkar in Panjagutta circle. When the situation turned violent with the protest of his followers they shifted him to Bollaram police station where VH is continuing his protest against the police action.

Earlier he reached to the circle along with the Baba Saheb Dr B R Ambedkar statue which he was prepared by spending Rs 5 lakh. Police obstructed him and his followers and shifted them to Bollaram. Speaking to the media VH slammed the Telangana Government for neglecting the reinstallation of Dr Ambedkar statue at the demolition site.
