Police Commissioner says no protests till Oct 31

Siddipet: Police Commissioner Joel Davis has said Police Act 30 & 30(A) would be in effect till October 31. Speaking on Monday, he said no dharnas, rallies, rasta rokhos and meetings are allowed during this period.

Taking permissions in advance is mandatory to organise such programmes, he asserted. Action will be taken if anyone forces to close institutions, offices etc. the commissioner said. He appealed to the people to extend cooperation to the police in safeguarding law and order.
