Police name Amurtha's father main accused in Nalgonda
Nalgonda: Miryalaguda police submitted a 1600-page chargesheet in the sensational Perumalla Pranay honour killing case, to the district court in Nalgonda on Wednesday.
According to the details of the case, Perumalla Pranay, who married Amurtha Varshini, was brutally murdered in Mirylaguda town on September 14, 2018 while he was returning to his home after getting his pregnant wife undergo tests in Jyothi hospital.
The police had arrested Amrutha's father Tirunagari Maruthi Rao (main accused) , Subhash Sharma, Asgar Ali, Abdul Bari, MD Karim, Amrutha's paternal uncle Tirunagari Shravan Kumar and Maruthi Rao 's car driver Shiva in this case. District police invoked PD Act on 6 out of seven accused and shifted them to the Central Jail in Warangal. On April 28, accused Maruthi Rao, Shravan Kumar and Karim were released on bail.
Meanwhile, district police investigated the case from all angles by using the available latest technology, scientific evidences and forensic lab report. Police prepared the 1600-page chargesheet including note file of 63 pages and same was submitted to district court in Nalgonda for necessary order.
