Police outpost set up at govt hospital

Tandur: A police outpost was setup in the government hospital for keeping law and order, said SP M Narayana. He along with RDO Venumadhava Rao, DSP Ramachandrudu, CIs Ravikumar and Jalandhar Reddy inaugurated the outpost, here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said besides locals from the town, people from Karnataka also visit the hospital. There could be a chance of attacking doctors by attendants of patients and this outpost can prevent such incidents.

The SP suggested the hospital superintendent Mallikarjun to arrange CCTV cameras at main entrance and important places. Later, he distributed fruits to inmates sponsored by Arya Vysya Association.
