Police recover 7 bikes worth 4 lakh, one held

Hyderabad: The KPHB police on Monday arrested a notorious automobile offender and recovered seven motor cycles all worth Rs 4 lakh from the possession of the accused.

According to B Surendar Rao, ACP, Kukatpally division, accused P Prashant (23) committed seven offences, four offences under KPHB, two under Bachupally and one under SR Nagar police station limits since December 2017.

The accused was allegedly addicted to liquor and other bad habits and to meet his lavish expenses he decided to commit theft of motor cycles.

After committing offences, he used to mortgage the vehicles and used the money lavishly.
