Nagarkurnool: Police seize tipper transporting sand illegally

Nagarkurnool: The Kalwakurthy police have seized a tipper found transporting sand illegally in Kalwakurthy mandal of Nagarkurnool district on Monday.

According to Kalwakurthy police, it is said that a few persons were using the tipper for transporting the sand illegally in the name of government programmes.

"We have seized a tipper lorry, which is being used for transporting the sand illegally in the name of government programmes and schemes. After receiving a tip-off, we intercepted the tipper and found that the vehicle belonged to a private person and was used for transporting sand illegally. We have registered a case and investigating the matter," said Kalwakurthy police.
