Politicos, celebs cast their votes across State
Hyderabad: Prominent persons including political leaders and celebrities exercised their adult franchise in the elections for 17 Lok Sabha constituencies held in Telangana on Thursday.
Governor ESL Narasimhan along with his wife Vimala Narasimhan cast their vote at a polling booth near Somajiguda in Hyderabad. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his wife Shobha Rao flew to his native village Chintamadaka in the old Medak district and exercised their franchise amid tight security.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K T Rama Rao and his wife Shailima stood in a queue to exercise their franchise at the GHMC community hall in Nandinagar of Banjara Hills.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy with his wife Padmavathi Reddy (Congress incharge to Kodada Assembly constituency) cast their vote in Kodad town. TRS candidate from Nizamabad Lok Sabha segment K Kavitha exercised her franchise at Pothangal village in Nizamabad district.
Telangana Congress leader Vijayashanthi and BJP state unit president K Laxman exercised their franchise in the city. Congress candidate from Bhongir Lok Sabha segment Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and his family members cast their vote in Nalgonda town.
Actor politician K Chiranjeevi and his actor-son Ram Charan along with their family and Junior NTR along with his family members cast their votes at Jubilee Hills Club.
Allu Arjun, Rajashekhar and Jeevitha, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, Raviteja, Music director M M Keeravani etc also cast their vote in Hyderabad.
