Addressing a press conference at his residence in Narayanapuram village of Kallur mandal on Friday, Ponguleti said, "There may be some difficulties and disruptions. But we will stay united and obedient to the party and its supremo K Chandrashekar Rao. The followers and cadre should take the fact into consideration that KCR has promised us all a better political career in the future."

Ponguleti praised KCR as the leader of the Telangana state who made Telangana a role model State in the country by developing all sectors. He added that TRS would play a crucial role in national politics and that was the reason why KCR had offered MP ticket to Nama Nageswara Rao.
