Ponnala Lakshmaiah slams KCR for not releasing funds to Osmania University

Osmania University: The PCC former president, Ponnala Lakshmaiah said the golden future of Telangana was linked with protection of the 100-year-old Osmania University. He was addressing the 'Save OU' programme organised under the aegis of K Srinivas on Tuesday. He criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's lethargic attitude towards sanctioning funds and appointments to various posts in the university. "Researches have come to halt for want of funds," he added calling upon everyone to fight against problems in the university.

MLC Narsi Reddy, former MP Ajit Pasha. OU student unions leaders Ravi Naik, P Sudhakar, P Satish, Venkanna, Krishna Madiga and others were among those present at the programme.
