Poor can avail free legal services: District Judge
Karimnagar: With the establishment of the Legal Cell Authority, many poor people can get legal services free of cost to solve their problems, observed the District Court III Additional Judge M Krishna Murthy here on Saturday.
He participated as a chief guest at the programme that is organised on the occasion of Nationa Legal Service Day by District Legal Cell Authority here in Karimnagar. Speaking on the occasion, Additional Judge M Krishna Murthy said that all the people irrespective of caste, creed, gender and religion are equal before the law.
Even, the poor people also can get the legal services free of cost. Through Lok Adalat, several cases are solved in quick session and justice is done to many people, he added.
Another chief guest District Court IV Additional Judge Madhavi Krishna said that through District Legal Cell Authority several awareness programme on how to get legal services are conducted for the people. By attending such programmes, people can learn about getting legal services, she suggested.
Later, prizes were distributed to the students who won in the essay writing competitions organised on the occasion. Advocates Satish Kumar, Lalitha, Shiva Jyothi, Sai Sudha, Pradeep, Pavan Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
