Prajavani: Many submit pleas with regard to land issues

Suryapet: District Collector Amoy Kumar directed the officials concerned to take necessary action with regard to applications received from the public during the Prajavaani programme. On Monday, he took part in the Prajavaani programme held at the Collectorate and received applications from people.

Speaking on the occasion, he said 45 people had submitted applications during the programme seeking redressal of various issues. The Collector directed the officials concerned to take necessary action based on eligibility. A majority of applications received were concerned with land issues, 2 BHK houses and Aasara pensions, he added. The Collector instructed the officials of Agriculture and allied departments to create awareness among the farmers on good yielding crops. He advised the farmers to sell their paddy at government paddy procurement centres to get minimum support price for their produce. District officials Kiran Kumar, Jyothi, Shirisha, Venkat Reddy, Srinivas and others took part in the programme.
