Prefinals in football, volleyball held

Patancheru: On the second day of the Sixth State-level Girls SWERO Olympic Sports Competitions in Chitkul Gurukul School, 1,215 participants from 128 schools showed their merit.

The combined districts in the State have been divided into four zones Adilabad, Karimnagar (Zone 1), Khammam, Warangal (Zone 2),Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Mahbubnagar (Zone 3), Medak, Nizamabad (Zone 4).

During the Thursday events in volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, handball and football were conducted among various zones. The first and second stage competitions were held. The finals in some sports are to take place on Friday.
