Preparations in full swing for Chief Minister's visit in Mahbubnagar
Mahbubnagar: With Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao scheduled to visit Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Mahbubnagar districts on Thursday to review the ongoing works of Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift irrigation (PRRLI) project and take stock of the project status, the district administrations of all the three districts along with the Ministers and MLAs from their respective districts are busy in making preparations for the CM's visit.
As per the official release from the Chief Minister's Office, the Chief Minister will visit all the five major reservoirs being constructed on the PRRLI project. Accordingly, the Chief Minister is expected to departure from Hyderabad at 9 am by a chopper and is expected to reach Karivena reservoir at Bhootpur mandal under Devarkadra constituency in Mahbubnagar at 9.40 am and will inspect the site.
From there on, the Chief Minister is scheduled to fly to Vattem Project site in Bijinepally mandal in Nagarkurnool district and from there he will reach Narlapur Project in Kollapur and inspect the construction activities there. From there, KCR will reach Yedula reservoir in Gopalpet mandal in Wanaparthy district at around 12.30 pm and will have his lunch after conducting a detailed review meeting with all the irrigation officials concerned and expected to give them instructions and directions to speed up the works.
As part of Chief Minister's visit, Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy along with Nagarkurnool MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy supervised the preparations at Vattem Reservoir.
Similarly, Kollapur MLA Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy has also been working overtime to ensure all things are in place for CMs visit and ensuring all arrangements at Yellur reservoir in Kollapur mandal.
In Mahbubnagar, Excise Minister Srinivas Goud along with Devarkadra MLA Ala Venkateshwara Reddy, MP Manne Srinivas Reddy and District Collector Ronald Rose took stock of preparations for CM's visit. "We are ensuring that everything is kept in place for CM's visit tomorrow. Clear directions and instructions to all the concerned irrigation officials and district administration officials have been given to get ready with their reports on the status of ongoing works," informed Srinivas Goud.
