Preparatory meeting for Haritha Haram held
Khammam: Everyone should participate in the State government's flagship programme Haritha Haram, said District Collector RV Karnan. Speaking at a review meeting on Tuesday at Bhaktha Ramadasu Kalakshetram with the officials of Panchayat, Zilla Parishad, Forest, Rural Development departments, the Collector said every department should reach their targets.
He suggested the departments to prepare an action plan and coordinate with other departments to reach their targets and make the programme a huge success.
Urging the people to take of the planted saplings, the Collector informed that the district was going to plant around 3.3 crore saplings in the coming fifth phase of Haritha Haram.
Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Priyanka, speaking at the meeting, appealed to the officials to cooperate with MPTCs, ZPTCs, Sarpanches and public representatives to make the programme a grand success in all villages.
Assistant Collector Hanumanth Kodimba, District Rural Development Agency Project Director Indumathi, Commissioner Srinivas, Divisional Forest Officer Satish Kumar, Municipal Commissioners of Wyra and Sathupally, MPDOs and others attended the meeting.
