Previous governments neglected a few communities: MLA Patel
Ramagundam: The earlier government of united Andhra Pradesh show discrimination on caste occupations and on certain communities, alleged Ramagundam MLA Korakanti Chander Patel. He inaugurated the newly constructed building of Padmashali Seva Sangham at 38th division under Ramagundam Corporation limits in Peddapalli district on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said after the formation of separate Telangana State, the TRS government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is giving equal importance to all the communities present across the State and is striving hard to uplift them.
To help handloom weavers, the CM had sanctioned pensions to them and brought happy in their lives. He is also trying to uplift them economically by handing over the contract of weaving Bathukamma sarees to them every year. The people belonging to Padmashali community are living with unity here in this region. Whatever the issue they face, the MLA assured of trying to solve them for their wellbeing.
Former corporators Maruthi, Chukkala Srinivas, T Shankar Goud, Vanga Veera Swamy, Venkata Swamy, Bikshapathi, Narayana, Venkata Das, Bala Rajkumar, Laxman and Anjanna were present along with others.
