Progress of SC/ST cases reviewed

Sangareddy: District Collector M Hanumantha Rao participated in the district vigilance and monitoring committee meeting on citizen rights protection act and prevention of rape act at the collectorate on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Hanumanth Rao said, "Cases which are lodged under SC/ST Act should be expedited and justice should be delivered to the victims."

Zaheerabad MLA Manik Rao said, "SC/ST cases monitoring improved very much in the district. 70% reduction is achieved when compared to previous year." Andhole MLA Kranthi Kiran said, "The meeting was conducted in a peaceful manner. Cases should be lodged, after enquiring with both the sides." District Revenue officer Radhika Ramani, Addl SP Mahendar, SC welfare officer Mallesam, RDO's, DSP and others were present.
