Protest held at Indira Park against mass lynching incidents

Hyderabad: A protest was held today at Indira Park to express anguish and anger against mass lynching taking place in the country.
Addressing the gathering, Azeez Pasha, ex MP and CPI leader stated that till now more than 266 such cases were recorded in the country in the last five years which include 14 cases in Jharkhand.
The Supreme Court of India recently took serious view about these ghastly incidents and directed the parliament to enact a law to punish the culprits, he said.
These incidents were also affecting the image of the country, known for its rich culture and religious harmony, the CPI leader said.
