Providing quality education is our utmost priority: Jagadish Reddy

Chivemla (Suryapet): Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that children of neglected sections have been getting quality education in government residential schools on par with corporate schools under TRS government.

Along with District Collector Amoy Kumar, the Minister on Monday inaugurated the government BC Residential School for Boys at Chivemla in Suryapet district.

Speaking on the occasion, he described Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao a man of powerful thoughts. "The Chief Minister had studied educational problems during the agitation time for the separate State," he added.

Stating that the State was witnessing a great success of KG-to-PG education, Jagadish Reddy informed that government was giving top priority to girls education for creating a better future for families as well as the State.

"Seats in government residential schools have been allotted in transparent manner and no recommendations were entertained," he clarified, adding that people's faith in government schools has been increasing due to reforms brought by the TRS government in the last five years.

Meanwhile, Telangana state MBC Sankshema Sangham state co-convener K Satyanarayana, in a press note released in Nalgonda on Monday, has expressed his pleasure over starting another 119 Government BC Residential Schools in the State. He thanked the State government for its commitment towards the welfare of people.
