Pull up socks to deal with seasonal diseases: MP Nama Nageswara Rao to officials
Khammam: MP Nama Nageswara Rao on Wednesday appealed to the people and officials to make all efforts to fight the seasonal diseases that may spread in the district as rainy season has set in.
The Khammam MP had teleconference from the Delhi with the officers about various issues concerning the district. He asked the health official to ensure that that the scanning machines are functioning in the government hospital. He also discussed the issue with the hospital superintendent and asked him to get the machine repaired immediately to meet any emergency.
He also discussed with the commissioner the sanitation issues and asked him to embark him on cleaning of the city. He also directed the panchayat officers to do cleaning of drains and foot paths regularly.
The TRS MP appealed to Asha workers and ANMs to conduct awareness programmes to make people aware about the seasonal diseases. He asked the health officers to put the stock of medicines in all government hospitals and PHCs.
