Puvvada reviews Mission Bhagiratha, 2BHK works in Khammam

Khammam: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar directed the officials concerned to complete all the developmental works in the district in the stipulated time. On Wednesday, he conducted a review meeting with District Collector RV Karnan and officials of other departments at the Collectorate in Khammam.

Addressing the officials, Puvvada expressed satisfaction over the active implementation of 30-day action plan and added that around 543 panchayats identified cremation grounds and dumping yards during the programme. He directed the officials to inspect the villages and continue the works besides supplying water through water tanks and tractors in the villages. "The officials must complete central lighting works and laying of CC roads immediately," he said.

Reviewing the Mission Bhagiratha works, he informed that out of 564 tanks, the construction of 537 tanks was completed. He directed the officials concerned to immediately to complete the works of remaining 27 tanks. The Minister also discussed the construction of double bedroom houses and asked the engineering officials to complete the works as early as possible and allot the houses to the beneficiaries.

MLC B Laxmi Narayana, Mayor Dr Papalal, Joint Collector Anurag Jayanthi, Assistant Collector Hanumanth Kodimba, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Priyanka and other officials attended the review meeting.
