PV Narasimha Rao's birth anniversary celebrated in Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam: The 98th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao was celebrated at the Gowthami Brahman Purohitha Sangham at Pushkar Ghat near river Godavari in Bhadrachalam on Friday.

On the occasion, the Sangham representatives garlanded the portrait of Narasimha Rao and recalled the veteran politician's services to the nation. They said the liberalisation policies introduced under his government have paved way for the fast growth of the Indian economy.

Sangham president R Ravi Kumar, representatives MV Srinivas, K Srinivas Charyulu, K Vijay Kumar, I Rama Krishna Sastry, S Ashok Kumar Sarma, Rajeswara Rao, K Srinivas Sarma, M Venugopala Charyulu, B Prasad and Sundar Sastry and others paid tributes to the late Prime Minister.
