Rachakonda CP Mahesh Bhagwat assures peaceful Ganesh immersion
Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police, GHMC and Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsavam Samiti conducted a co-ordination meeting at Saroornagar Lake on the upcoming Ganesh immersion programme.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said from the beginning of the day to the end of the Ganesh immersion, every possible amenities were arranged for people.
He said eight cranes have been installed for the immersion, in order to provide access to parking for the devotees, to provide water and continuous power supply, generators and basic medical facilities were made.
About 200 CC cameras were installed and three mobile CC camera vehicles and 300 personnel were deployed for surveillance.
He asserted that like the past three years, this year police will ensure a peaceful Ganesh immersion.
GHMC East Zone commissioner Srinivas Reddy said the Police department and the GHMC will continue to work with a great coordination.
