Rachakonda CP Mahesh Bhagwat gets Covid-19 vaccine
Rachakonda commissioner of police Mahesh Bhagwat on Saturday got vaccinated against the coronavirus disease. He said that there are no side effects with the vaccine and asked the people not to hesitate in taking the vaccine.
The Commissioner of Police took the shot at Primary Health Care (PHC) centre at Malkajgiri. He said that the vaccine will be given to the frontline warriors under Rachakonda commissionerate limits soon. "Around 49 centres have been set up for the vaccination drive to vaccinate the police personnel including 6,000 from law & order, Octopus, National Security Guard (NSG), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

On the other hand, the vaccination for frontline warriors began in Jagtial district. CI K Kishore and other police staff got the vaccine in PHC at Malyala mandal headquarters.
In the second phase of the vaccination drive, frontline warriors like police, municipal, revenue and panchayat officials will be vaccinated by February 12. On the first day, the vaccine was distributed to the police personnel.
In the first phase, around 3.30 lakh health workers were registered for the vaccine and 1.93 got the vaccine shot.
