Rahul Bojja appointed as Special Officer in CEO's office

Hyderabad: Rahul Bojja (IAS), Agriculture Commissioner has been appointed as a Special Officer in the office of Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana in connection with the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

He is likely to assist CEO in smooth conduct of the Nizamabad Lok Sabha election. A three-member ECI team that was in the State to discuss election preparedness in Nizamabad has given its consent to appoint a senior IAS officer to oversee the election process.

Also, Special Officers of the cadre of Deputy Collectors and Tahsildars would be deployed to Assembly segments to assist in Nizamabad election.

The ECI team is understood to be satisfied with poll preparedness and is confident that Telangana will create history with Nizamabad election.
