Rain brings respite from heat, affects life

Peddemul: The rain coupled with gales hit several villages in the mandal on Monday. Trees on the premises of primary health centre were uprooted. Traffic was disrupted as trees on the roadside fell at Nagulapalli road.

Locals voluntarily removed the trees and resumed the traffic. The untimely rain brought the respite for the people, who has been reeling under severe heatwave for some days.
