Rain lashes out Hyderabad, to continue for next two days
The temperature came down across the state with the sudden rains lashed out parts of Telangana including Hyderabad from Saturday evening. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the rains are predicted for the next two days.
Districts like Miryalaguda received the highest rainfall of 82 mm on Sunday morning followed by Manakondur in Karimnagar at 61.5 mm and Palimela in Jayashankar-Bhupalapally district at 57.5 mm.
While Mulugu, Mancherial and Jagtial witnessed rainfall of 50 mm on Saturday night. Coming to Hyderabad, the city recorded an average rainfall of 29.2 mm on Saturday.
According to the weather officials, the reason for the rainfall is due to the pressure formed at an altitude of 900m from Tamil Nadu to Chattisgarh.
