Rains lash Hyderabad, more in store

Heavy rains lashed out Hyderabad city and many parts of Telangana in the last two days.

Ramannapet of Yadradri district received 13.3 cm of rainfall followed by Enkuru of Khammam with 9.3 cm of rainfall. While it is 7.5 cm of rainfall in Govindaraopet of Mulugu, 7.3 cm in Alubaka of Venkatapuram, 7 in Hanwada of Mahbubnagar, 6.3 in Inugurthi of Jagtial.

Meanwhile, Quthbullapur in Hyderabad has received the highest of 6.3 cm of rainfall, 5.4 cm in Gayatrinagar, 5 cm in Alwal, 4.7 in Madhapur.

However, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted more rain for the next two days.
