Rains continue to lash Hyderabad for the next two days, according to the city weather centre. The reason for the unseasonal rain is said to be the formation of the trough from Marathwada to Comorin and the pressure formed over the surface of South Chhattisgarh.
On Thursday night, rains accompanied by wind and thunderstorm lashed the city leaving the roads inundated. Narayanaguda in Hyderabad witnessed heavy rainfall of 55.3mm. However, areas like Uppal, Begumpet, Nacharam, Gandipet, Khairathabad, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills and Rajendra Nagar received light showers.
