Ramagundam: Strive for safety excellence

Ramagundam: As per NTPC-Ramagundam Disaster Management Plan, a safety mock drill on major fire was conducted inside the plant premises on Tuesday in the presence of Y Gangadhar Reddy, Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories, Karimnagar.

Mathew Varghese, CGM (O&M); Soumendra Das, GM (Maint. & FM); BC Polai, GM (Operation) and other senior officials were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Y Gangadhar Reddy appreciated NTPC-Ramagundam for their excellent safety practices and systems at workplace and advised to adopt Tabletop Exercise before mock drill as well as strive to achieve further excellence in the areas of safety.

Later, 127th Safety Committee Meeting with the trade unions held wherein NTPC senior officials and office bearers of different unions were present.

KNS Radha Mohan, AGM; Narasimha Reddy, Manager and other officials and stewards from Safety Department as well as officials from CISF Fire wing were present on the occasion.
