Hyderabad: The TSRTC JAC on Tuesday said that they would accept whatever decision the High Court takes on the RTC. Talking to reporters after the court hearing, the JAC convener E Ashwathama Reddy said that government should not take the RTC employees' strike as a prestige issue.

Instead, the government should form a committee on the suggestion of the Court and find a solution for problems of the RTC workers, he stated.

After hearing both the sides, the Court had suggested to form a committee with three retired judges of the Supreme Court. The Advocate General told the court that he would inform about the government version after taking this matter to the government.

"We request the government to form a committee and hold talks with the workers. We are ready for the court's suggestion on forming a committee. But the panel should have time limit," said Reddy referring the Court's observation that strike cannot be termed illegal.
