Registrations of non-agricultural land in Telangana to start from Nov 23

Registrations of non-agricultural lands in Telangana will start from November 23, announced the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao after a meeting with the officials on Sunday. Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar will launch the registration process.

The CM said that the registration of agricultural lands initiated by the government through Dharani Portal has been gaining popularity. "People are believing that a new era has begun in the process of land registration and are confident that their lands were secured by Dharani," the Chief Minister said.

"The feedback is excellent from the field and all the minor issues will be taken care of in a few days," he said adding that the registration process of non-agricultural lands will begin after overcoming all the issues.

Ministers Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Sabitha Indra Reddy, Rythu Bandhu Samiti president and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, chief secretary Somesh Kumar and Chief Minister's principal secretary Narsinga Rao, revenue department secretary Sheshadri, principal secretary of finance department Ramakrishna Rao, panchayat raj commissioner Raghunandan Rao and other were present in the meeting.
