Respect the disabled: Ramagundam MLA Korakanti Chander Patel
Ramagundam: MLA Korakanti Chander Patel said discrimination against the disabled in the society should be eliminated. People should show love and affection towards the disabled people living in the society and respect them.
Normal persons should remember service to man is service to god and must help the disabled as their responsibility, he added. Ramagundam MLA K Chander Patel organised marriage to a disabled couple here on Wednesday.
He presented mangala sutram and mettelu to the disable couple - Manjula, resident of Goliwada village and Shankar of Kataram mandal - at Sri Kodanda Ramalayam in Godavarikhani of Peddapalli district. Representatives of various voluntary organisations have attended the wedding.
The MLA said people should help the needy and poor and also others, who are facing problems and must help them come out of it. It is the minimum responsibility to help others being a human, he added.
