Revanth Reddy making false allegations on KTR only to get PCC post: TRS

Hyderabad: TRS leaders on Sunday alleged that the Congress party MP A Revanth Reddy was making baseless allegations against Minister KT Rama Rao only to get the plum post of PCC Chief.

The TRS leaders countered Revanth Reddy's allegations stating that the Congress leader has encroached lands belonging to dalits in Gopanpally in the city. Government Whip B Suman alleged that Revanth Reddy's brother-in-law Jayaprakash Reddy was involved in illegal constructions in survey number 66/E. Suman demanded Revanth Reddy to answer on this. Suman adding government would soon bring out details of leaders holding lands under purview of GO 111.

Suman said that the lands showed by Revanth Reddy does not belong to KTR. The Congress leader is unable to digest the growth of minister KTR. Many things would come out in Revanth Reddy's issue, claimed Suman.

Whip Karne Prabhakar said that Revanth Reddy makes baseless allegations only to create sensation. Prabhakar questioned whether a national party like Congress needs leader like him. He said the TRS leaders have faith in judicial system.

On the other hand, Public Undertakings Chairman A Jeevan Reddy alleged that Revanth Reddy is a blackmailer. "He has learned criminal activities while in jail," Jeevan Reddy said.
