Rich tributes paid to Bahadur Yar Jung
Darusalaam: Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung's 75th death anniversary was observed by MIM (Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen) and its off-shoot MBT (Majlis Bachao Tehreek) on Tuesday.
On occasion of death anniversary of founder of the MIM also known as Mohammed Mahmood Nawaz Khan (Qaid-e-Millat), party chief Asaduddin Owaisi along with Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri (MLA), Moazam Khan (MLA), Mumtaz Ahmed Khan (MLA) and other party leaders offered Chader-e-Gul (floral tribute) on the grave of Nawab.
In the memory of Nawab MIM also organised a Jalsa-Yaad-e-Qaid-e-Millat, commemorating his contribution to the political party represented by Muslims near Ashur Khana at Tadban in Bahadurpura.
Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), president Majeedullah Khan Farhat, spokesperson Amjedullah Khan Farhat and other party leader also paid floral tribute at the grave of Nawab in Musheerabad and also organised a Jalsa-Yaad-e-Qaid-e-Millat beside Masjid-e-Salaheen in Chanchalguda.
The MIM party was founded in 1927 for providing a cultural and religious platform to the Muslims living in the principality of the Nizam of Hyderabad.
The party named as MIM, it expanded overnight under Bahadur Yar Jung, a charismatic personality whose speeches drew the masses and remembered for oratory. Jung died prematurely in 1944, some claim he was poisoned.
