Roads in Telangana wore deserted look with Janata curfew
With the Janata curfew coming into effect, the roads in the state wore a deserted look since 6 am. The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced 24-hour Janata curfew in the state to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The Chief Minister urged the citizens to stay at home from 6 am on Sunday from 6 am on Monday. He further said that he and his family members would clap at 5 pm on Sunday and siren will also blow at 5 pm at all the areas.
On Sunday morning, the police caught a man with suspected coronavirus symptoms at Nampally railway station in Mumbai express. The man, a native of Mangalhat in Hyderabad was sent to Gandhi Hospital.
In Jogulamba Gadwal district, the police stopped the goods vehicles at Pullur toll plaza in Undavalli of Gadwal district which led to a traffic jam for about 3 kilometre. In Karimnagar, the medical officials caught a man with coronavirus suspected symptoms and shifted him to the isolated ward. Jameel who toured with the Indonesian group has gone absconding after the foreigners tested positive.
In the view of the curfew, the police arranged a check post at Sangareddy highway and stopped the vehicles from entering into the district.
