RTC bus overturns after lorry hits in Bhadradri Kothagudem district

A road accident took place in Bhadradri Kothagudem district wherein a TSRTC bus was hit by a lorry carrying coal leaving 43 passengers of the bus were injured in this incident.

Going into the details, an RTC bus left Vijayawada with 47 passengers from Bhadrachalam depot on Sunday morning. A coal lorry came across the road at high speed and hit a bus at Anandagani in Chunchupally mandal. As a result, the bus flipped twice and overturned.

As many as four of the passengers in the bus sustained serious injuries while the rest suffered minor injuries. The injured were shifted to District General Hospital in Kothagudem. Among the injured are people from Vijayawada, Nuzividu, Bhadrachalam and Kothagudem towns.
