RTC driver dies of heart stroke in Warangal

Narsampet (Warangal Rural): A Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) driver died of heart stroke here on Tuesday. According to reports, 50-year-old Mohammed Yakub Pasha, was working with the Narsampet bus depot, was admitted to MGM Hospital after he complained of chest pain in the early hours of Tuesday. He died while undergoing treatment. He hails from Zaffergadh mandal in Jangaon district.

Learning about the driver's death, a large number of RTC employees turned to MGM hospital. However, the police didn't allow them to enter the hospital. Furious over the incident, the RTC staff raised slogans against the State government. Later, the police shifted the driver's body to Zaffergadh.

It is learnt that Pasha was worried with the government not coming forward to resolve the issue. He went into depression after the High Court referred the case to the Labour Court. With his savings running out, he was worried about the future of his family members. Meanwhile, the TSRTC employees' strike entered the 46 days on Tuesday.
