Hyderabad: Opening party's doors wide open, BJP national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao on Friday extended an open invitation to the leaders from the Congress and the TDP, who are interested fighting anti-democratic and anti-people policies of the TRS government, into the BJP.

Addressing the media here, the BJP leader said there would a marked change in the political landscape in Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh in a short span of the next six to seven months.

The Congress and TDP would be facing an existential question because of their own self-inflicted wrongdoings.

He said the anti-TRS vote is all set to shift in favour of BJP just as the Congress and Communist vote share had shifted to the BJP in West Bengal and Tripura, he said.

Disclosing many senior leaders from the Congress and TDP were keeping in touch with the party leadership to join the saffron party, he said the party national leadership also identified Telangana as the potential for the party's growth.

"We will not hesitate to confront the TRS. Save democracy, establish good governance and end dynasty and the family rule will be the party's agenda to take on the TRS," he said.

Similarly, in Andhra Pradesh too the BJP is all set to make its mark and the party focus for next six to seven months in the two Telugu States is "Congress and TDP," he said.

He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is solely responsible for the benefits of the Central schemes not reaching people of Telangana for political considerations.

Latest in this is students of the forward classes belonging to the economically weaker sections (EWS) are all set to lose the opportunity in the 384 MBBS seats allocated to Telangana state. The State government did not notify the 10 per cent EWS reservations, he said.
