Sagara community conducts Vanabhojana Sammelanam at Vikarabad
Vikarabad: A 'Vanabhojana Sammelanam' was organised in Anantagiri Bugga Rameswara temple by the Vikarabad District Sagara (Uppara) Association. A large number of Sagara community representatives from the town and its surrounding areas participated in it.
They spent quality time indulging in songs and sports. Later at a meeting,Telangana State Sagara Sangham president Bangaru Narsimha Sagara, general secretary Uppari Sekhar Sagara were the chief guests. District Sagara Sangham president Uppari Ravi presided over it.
Addressing the gathering, they stated that it was a matter of pleasure that the Vanabhojanam launched in 'Treta Yugam' by deities was being continued even now. The leaders urged the State government to concede the demands put forth by the Sangham. The two leaders described Vanabojanam as a programme aimed to appreciate the nature. They assured the gathering that the State Sagara Sangham would strive for the uplift of community.
