Sajjanar also explained them on the measures to be taken for maintenance of security, the routes and police station locations.

Party offices should not be present within 200 mt of polling stations.

Candidates should take permissions from the respective RO for their election campaign vehicles.

He also explained the measures to be taken to help women, senior citizens and handicapped voters and provision of basic amenities at the polling centers.

Surveillance should be placed on rowdy sheeters, history sheeters and other anti-social elements who may create problems during the elections, he said.

He instructed the officials to conduct coordination meetings with ACPs, DCPs and border police and work in coordination with revenue staff.
