Sand stocked illegally in 150 tractors seized in Narayanpet

Narayanpet: On a tip-off, the mandal revenue officials of Maddur mandal seized a huge dump of sand stocked illegally in Timmareddypally village of Maddur mandal on Tuesday.

According to Maddur Tahsildar Naganna, some persons, involved in the sand mafia, stocked the sand in 150 tractors in Timmareddypally. Upon receiving the information, the village revenue official (VRO) and Revenue inspector visited the sand dump and seized it.

"We have seized the illegal dump and registered a case against the culprit for stocking the sand illegally. We will initiate necessary legal action and book cases against all those involved in the case," said Naganna.
